about_CUCMSidecarWorkflow SHORT DESCRIPTION Implements an automated sidecar workflow for sidecars for certain users. LONG DESCRIPTION Uses CUCM's AXL API to initiate and receive SOAP requests to add or remove a user, and alphabetize the users on the sidecar. DETAILED DESCRIPTION This module is meant to automate the process of updating a CUCM sidecar. Users are only required to enter two things upon running module: 1) The MAC address of the device to be updated. (i.e SEP0012345ABC6D7E) 2) The CUCM instance to interact with. (i.e cucm_server.domain.com) Only the address URI is needed. Nothing else. The script handles the rest of the address. The user has the option to Add, remove, or list the details of the sidecar users. This happens after every update (either an addition or a removal). When a user asks to list the users, the list is provided, and then the option of adding, removing, or listing is presented again. This happens until the user presses 'Q' to exit out of the module. Two files are created while the module is being used, however, once the user presses 'Q', the files are deleted. |
