Module that should help read data from CIM/WMI data from remote computers and Inventory it in a nice and dynamic format.
Data is stored in Compact Sql database, with all benefits of SQL in single file, that can be moved around with module.

Definition of retrieved data is by default stored in module folder (Queries.txt).
It is also possible to define a 'Map' that converts names of WMI properties to properties stored in database.

Some formatting enabled, based on default set of properties configured.
To modify parameters module-wide run Import-Module with -ArgumentList parameter.

Installation Options

Install-PSResource -Name CimInventory

You can deploy this package directly to Azure Automation. Note that deploying packages with dependencies will deploy all the dependencies to Azure Automation. Learn More

Manually download the .nupkg file to your system's default download location. Note that the file won't be unpacked, and won't include any dependencies. Learn More
