TOPIC about_GuestConfiguration SHORT DESCRIPTION The Guest Configuration PowerShell module provides tools to create custom content for Azure Policy to audit and apply settings inside Azure virtual machines and Arc connected machines. LONG DESCRIPTION This module provides tools to: - Create the content package (.zip) from a compiled DSC configuration (.mof) - Validate the created content package by running Audit against the local machine using the agent binaries - Run the created content package on the local machine using the agent binaries - Create the Azure Policy definition EXAMPLES PS C:\> New-GuestConfigurationPackage -Path . -Configuration MyPolicy.mof -Name MyPolicy -Force NOTE: Thank you to all those who contributed to this module, by writing code, sharing opinions, and provided feedback.
