Invoke-ParallelRun runs a script block for many items at the same time in Windows PowerShell 5.1. -MaxThreads is always the real limit (also for Exchange remote commands), one result object per item (Status OK / FAILED, Output, Error, Duration), per-item -TimeoutSeconds, progress bar with ETA, and -RefreshMinutes / -RefreshScript to reconnect during long runs.
