It will also test if it's able to retrieve a value from the remote host. The function will return an object with the results. To use: $scred = Get-Credential, then pass $scred object to the -Credential parameter. .PARAMETER EnableException By default, when something goes wrong we try to catch it, interpret it and give you a friendly warning message. This avoids overwhelming you with "sea of red" exceptions, but is inconvenient because it basically disables advanced scripting.
