DOCUMENTATION — CMDLET HELP (.OUTPUTS) ACCURACY

The .OUTPUTS section of every cmdlet has been audited and corrected. Several cmdlets had wrong type names, missing alternate return types (e.g. the -Async job object or the -ScheduleTime schedule object), or an inaccurate property list. Get-Help <cmdlet> now reliably reflects every object type a cmdlet can return, regardless of which parameters are used.


NON-PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT SUPPORT (PAVO)

The module now supports HPE's internal pre-production GreenLake environment (Pavo). Set $env:HPE_COMMON_CLOUD_URL to https://pavo.common.cloud.hpe.com/ before Connect-HPEGL — all API endpoints, authentication, and region configuration are automatically derived. No code changes required to run existing scripts against Pavo.

- Disconnect-HPEGL: updated to complete cleanly when disconnecting from Pavo, which uses a different SSO provider than production.

- Get-HPEGLUserAccountDetails: updated to target the Pavo OnePass instance when connected to Pavo.


BUG FIXES

- Add-HPEGLDeviceTagToDevice, Remove-HPEGLDeviceTagFromDevice, Set-HPEGLDeviceLocation, Remove-HPEGLDeviceLocation, Set-HPEGLDeviceServiceDeliveryContact, Remove-HPEGLDeviceServiceDeliveryContact: fixed -WhatIf producing no output.

- New-HPECOMServerActivationKey: fixed cryptic 'JWT verification failed, Token issuer is not trusted' error when no valid server subscription with available quantity exists in the workspace. A pre-flight check now catches this condition and returns a clear actionable message.

- All COM cmdlets: fixed misleading "No active HPE GreenLake session" error when Compute Ops Management is not provisioned in the workspace. A clear, actionable message now directs to Get-HPEGLService -ShowProvisioned.

- Save-HPEGLSession / Restore-HPEGLSession: fixed multiple session-switching bugs including lost Clone() method after restore, incorrect full reconnect instead of fast token refresh, stale COM regions after restore, incorrect blocking after Remove-HPEGLWorkspace, and session corruption when switching workspaces. Refreshed tokens are now automatically synced back to the saved session object after each restore.

- Connect-HPEGL transient HTML response during authentication: the identity service occasionally returns an HTML error page where JSON is expected, causing a parse failure on first call. The error is now detected and the cmdlet automatically retries once after 1 second.

- Connect-HPEGL SSO session now includes identity provider metadata: after an SSO login, $Global:HPEGreenLakeSession exposes two new fields — 'idp' (the IdP tenant URL) and 'idpType' (EntraID, Okta, or PingIdentity). Both are $null for non-SSO authentication.

- Get-HPEGLUserAccountDetails, Set-HPEGLUserAccountDetails, Set-HPEGLUserAccountPassword: for accounts managed by a federated identity provider, these cmdlets now return a clear warning identifying the detected IdP instead of a raw 404 payload with an internal error code.
