ListFunctions

4.0.0

A module for testing, searching, and building generic .NET collections: List[T], HashSet[T], SortedSet[T], and Dictionary[TKey, TValue]. Equality comparers, hash code functions, and sort orders are ordinary PowerShell script blocks, so you don't have to write and compile an IEqualityComparer[T] or IComparer[T] class.

5.1

Release Notes

4.0.0 has breaking changes. The README at https://github.com/Yevrag35/PowerShell-ListFunctions describes how each command works.
- ListFunctions runs on Windows PowerShell 5.1 and on PowerShell 7.6 or later. In PowerShell 7.5 or earlier, the import fails with an error that says so.
- Assert-AnyObject, Assert-AllObject, Find-IndexOf, and Find-LastIndexOf are renamed Test-AnyObject, Test-AllObject, Find-Index, and Find-LastIndex. The old names still work as aliases.
- Each command has help, so Get-Help shows its description, parameters, and examples.
- -GenericType, -KeyType, and -ValueType complete type names when you press Tab.
- Many bug fixes change behavior: how the commands handle $null and pipeline input, convert elements to the collection's type, compare strings, and report errors from script blocks.
